Claire Ellen Products was formed in 1998 by its sole owner, Roger Salmonson, as a research and development company with its origin in magnetic nano particles and nerve cell regeneration and repair.

It was during Salmonson's research on nerve cell growth that a very unique molecule was discovered in an essential oil that caused nerve endings to separate. The ability to move nerve cell endings apart from each other would actually cause an interruption of the electrical pain impulse traveling to the brain.

Additional essential oils were added to these unique molecules to give the formula stability, skin compatibility and fragrance.

Shortly thereafter, an assistant at Claire Ellen tried this unique product on her abdomen when she felt the onset of her menstrual discomfort. Much to everyone's surprise, her menstrual discomfort “disappeared” within 10 minutes after the formula was applied ... and a new and exciting product, “Menastil” was born.

Additional tests were conducted on women with Endometriosis, not only on the abdomen, but in the pelvic and tailbone areas as well. Most of the women reported major relief after applying Menastil.

Clinical trials were conducted under strict FDA guidelines and the results were even better than expected. Efficacy rates were in the high 80% percentile and there were no reported side effects. Thousands of women were given the product to sample and to date there have been no reported side effects.

Claire Ellen Products has been recognized by the Endometriosis Association of America for its efforts to provide relief for those who suffer from Endometriosis .

Claire Ellen continues its research in the nerve cell area and is beginning clinical trials on products that will relieve the discomfort associated with Arthritis, joint and muscle pain, Shingles, Neuropathy, Fibromyalgia and headaches. Just as with Menastil, these products incorporate a formula composed of essential oils that are topically applied.
